12. How to put on and take off Neck-in Wetsuit?
The Neck-In Wetsuit is a special model to keep high heat-retention and flexible movement, however putting on and taking off this Wetsuit requires technique.
If your upper body is not as flexible compared to other people, you might find it little more difficult to put on and take off this Wetsuit.
However, even if your body is not very flexible, there should not be a problem to put it on, however you might not be able to take off the Wetsuit by yourself if you don't follow the directions we provide.
We highly recommend that you watch our video demonstrating how this is done. We also recommend trying putting it on and taking it off a couple of times before you actually go in the ocean.
Until you are comfortable putting on and taking off the Wetsuit, we recommend wearing a tight-fitting long-sleeve undershirt that will allow you smoother and easier wear.
This Wetsuit is recommended for intermediate to advanced surfers who are more experienced with Wetsuits in general. Not suitable for beginner surfers.

13. Is there any tips for taking off the Wetsuit?
It will be easy to take it off if you take it off inside-out like a child (stripping it down the body so it is totally inside out when finished).
This reduces the burden on the Wetsuit as well as making it easy to remove. Once off, just reverse the process making the right side out.

We recommend the "Back-zip Classic Wetsuit". The essential design concept of this Wetsuit strives for easy removal.

Yes, each brand has a different "cutting design" which strives for easy movement and the materials from which it is made.
Our Wetsuits are 100% Japan-made: from the materials to the entire production, all done in Japan.
|
16. What kind of materials are used to make the Wetsuits?
There are two types of material, stretch jersey fabric and soft rubber.
Stretch jersey fabric is used for mostly around the shoulders or sides of the Wetsuit for the winter season. It says "jersey fabric", but still the core part of this fabric is made of rubber, so this fabric doesn't allow water entry easily.
Rubber material is made of rubber on the outside. The newer version of this material is structured to retain air and to enhance heat retention. Also the soft fabric which looks like a blanket is made of a special napped fabric which has high heat retention and is used in the interior of the fabric.
We used those materials which depending on the model features of the Wetsuits to maintain a perfect balance.

17. Can I wash the Wetsuit in the washing machine?
No, you can't. The preferred way is hand-washing. Never put the Wetsuit in a washing machine or dryer.
|
18. When does the Wetsuit need to be replaced?
It depends on the usage or method of retention, typically it will need to be replaced every three years.
The materials might be getting hard and inflexible due to the age of the fabric.
You might feel that the Wetsuit is getting tighter in this situation.
Also, the Wetsuit might be fraying or tearing from deterioration of the rubber material.
It would be time to replace your Wetsuit when you notice the deterioration of heat retention, water resistance and comfort.

19. How to maintain the Wetsuit?
- Do not hold the Wetsuit!!
If you hold the Wetsuit, wrinkles rise and it might be the cause of getting torn by wrinkles.
- Keep the Wetsuit in shade!!
Please avoid to use steel metal wire hangers, and use "hangers with Extra wide Shoulders" instead and keep it in the well ventilated space out of the sunlight and heat.
- Wash the Wetsuit with water after use and dry it in the shade.

20. What do I do if I get small scratches and tears in my wetsuit?
When you use your wetsuit regularly, you are bound to catch your toe nail or tug it a little too strongly and get small tears and scratches.
Usually, it its not big cut or the wetsuit is not cut open, you can do the repairs yourself. Glues for patching up rubber material such are readily available.
I like using AQUASEAL (R) which is easy to handle. There are many YouTube videos showing you how to repair. Of course, if the cut is large and you would like for our factory to repair for you, we can do this with extra charge.
